A different branching case of the aortic arch in a dog

It was observed that the aortic arch distributed distinctly in only one case, in different sex of fourty adult dogs was used to study in the Department of Anatomy. In this case, the common carotid arteries, left and right, have arisen from the aortic arch as the first branch, and have formed a common trunk.

The left and right subclavian arteries arise from the aortic ardh, in a common trunk.
