Both Turkish history and Islamic Civilization is full of striking examples demonstrating the relation between the horse and the human. Place of the horse in Turkish and Islamic societies will be examined in general scope of this stucfy. Also, the 5th Sultan of Yaman Rasuly Dynasty, Malik Mudjahid Ali bin Da'ud who was a king, a veterinary and a poet and who had a great fondness for horses will be discussed.
